I have been home-schooled for most of my life and have been playing Minecraft since before it was a full game. My mother actually found MCS and thought it would be a nice break from the books and CDs of regular school and so decided to try it out for a term. My first session was in April of 2015 and was one of the most fun experiences I had gotten from Minecraft in a very long time. At the end of the session, I offered Ms. Jody any help I could provide for builds that needed completing to help grow the amazing MCS community. At the same time she had a project come in and offered me the Developer rank and the opportunity to complete it, which I excitedly accepted. After the project, I started to work with the other staff and quickly became friends with students and staff alike. Coming into 2016 I was moved up to the Teacher rank and greatly enjoy my job working with students and putting in any number of hours to complete a build. Being online and on Minecraft so much, I have developed a love for computers, and a great love for the coffee that helps me get through the late nights and very early mornings that I spend either gaming or working on whatever task comes my way. I have enjoyed seeing GamED Academy grow larger than it was when I started, and look forward to watching and being a part of it becoming even greater.
